Our client in Singapore have placed three repeated orders of wear resistant ceramic knife gate valves for fly ash in coal-fired power plants.

The abrasion resistant ceramic knife gate valves are customized to solve abrasion problem duo to abrasive fly ash. The valve seat and disc sealing ring are made in material of ceramic which has extreme hardness and abrasion resistance.

And the valve disc in material of stainless steel CF8 is treated with  nitridation, after nitriding, the abradability of the disc is increased greatly.

The valve seat is designed to be inclined seat to avoid accumulation of fly ash.

The customized ceramic knife gate valves have much longer service life than normal steel knife gate valves.
